Worship Schedule

Worship Schedule

At Salem Lutheran Church, we celebrate Holy Communion in-person each Sunday at 9am. In this time of COVID-19 and the global pandemic, please check the front page of the website for any changes to worship times. We also worship virtually with our weekly service posted online at 5pm.

All baptized Christians are welcome at the Lord’s table. We celebrate the Eucharist in the service, and following that up with drive-up Communion in the back entrance from 10am-10:45am on Sundays. So if you worship with us online, we invite you to receive communion curbside.

In-Person Service at 9am on Sundays

Please continue to adhere to cautious guidelines while in the building:

• Do not congregate in the building.

• Remain in your seat and resist moving about once in the sanctuary.

• Ushers will dismiss. Please proceed to exit to allow proper distancing.

• Maintain six foot physical distance.

• Wear face covering at all times.

• Sanitize hands when entering the building.

Please remain cautious in the community to reduce contact and thereby spreading of the virus which remains a threat. Thank you.

Registration is limited and will close on Friday at 10am or when registration reaches the set limit (currently 70).

In response to the recent Health Advisory issued by Peoria City/County Health Department describing rising levels of COVID cases and concerns, the planned outdoor worship service has been cancelled. Worship will still take place live at 6pm, but with worship leadership only. It will be recorded and available for viewing by 8am on Sunday, July 26.
This decision is not taken lightly but very seriously as we strive to follow health officials recommendations and cautions. We do this because we love one another and want what’s best for one another. In this time of pandemic, that means refraining from indoor as well as outdoor gatherings of larger sized groups.

The drive by farewell for Kristen will still take place on Sunday beginning at 10:30am as we will remain in our cars. Thank you for your cooperation.
