A Look at Last Summer's VBS
Last summer Salem Lutheran Church hosted an exciting Cross-Generational Vacation Bible School (VBS) experience.
Operation Restoration was a cross-generational Vacation Bible School that invited participants to be menders in God’s world. All generations came together to participate in faith formation activities together. We made connections between Bible stories and mending actions. Children discovered simple ways to live out faith in daily life.
A light meal was served and then students went to Vacation Bible School rotations.

Vacation Bible School was a high impact event for children in the Peoria community. It took a great number of adult and student volunteers to provide Vacation Bible School to this large outreach community event.
If you are interested in helping next summer, we are ready to help guide you through every step of your volunteer experience at Vacation Bible School. There are jobs of all sizes – every volunteer matters!
