RENEWING GOD’S HOUSE THROUGH LEARNING AND GROWING: Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always to the end of the age.
I remember years ago when the LOGOS program was first started at Salem. Our kids were in elementary school and already involved in a few outside activities. We did not attend the program for the first year because we just thought that we were too busy. Some friends who were going convinced us to give it a try. After we started coming we realized what a great program it was not only for kids but also for adults. Our children really enjoyed spending time with friends and taking part in the various activities and Pam and I became very involved in different aspects of the program. It was an opportunity to not only learn from other adults but to also be a part of the foundation of faith for several young children. To this day I feel that I have a relationship with many of these children as they have entered adulthood and a lot of it is due to the fact that I was involved in their lives at a young age.
Dear God, We ask that you always help us to remember that we can have an impact on so many lives by being involved and engaged with others. Please continue to provide us with many opportunities to spread your word to others. Amen.
