Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Reflection: When we hear the words “hunger and thirst,” we generally think of food and drink—don’t we? Most of us Salemites lead such privileged lives that obtaining food multiple times per day is not a problem! Yet many of

2 Corinthians 9: 10-11 He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. John 21: 15-17 When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my lambs.” A second time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do

Now, O Lord, is the day of salvation; now, O Lord, you have given us life. On this day of dust hear our praise for all the life you grant us, and hear our plea for all the world, that you may have pity on the people and gather them all into life, through Christ

OUTDOOR WORSHIP CANCELLED
DUE TO PEORIA HEALTH ADVISORY
In response to the recent Health Advisory issued by Peoria City/County Health Department describing rising levels of COVID cases and concerns, the planned outdoor worship service has been cancelled. Worship will still take place live at 6pm, but with worship leadership only. It will be recorded and available for viewing by 8am on Sunday, July 26.

This decision is not taken lightly but very seriously as we strive to follow health officials recommendations and cautions. We do this because we love one another and want what’s best for one another. In this time of pandemic, that means refraining from indoor as well as outdoor gatherings of larger sized groups.

The drive by farewell for Kristen will still take place on Sunday beginning at 10:30am as we will remain in our cars. Thank you for your cooperation.
